Late on posting this, but today is the last day of Mos’ exhibition. It was a week long show, from 1-6pm. This showcases rare performances and behind-the-scenes images captured by Cognito while accompanying Mos Def on the two year journey of making and supporting the June 2009 release of “The Ecstatic”.

I die for these fanny packs! Don’t call it a comeback; some say they’ve been resurrected, but I never left them! Yana’s fannies could be my current obsession; lambskin body, suede lining, 14k -18k gold plated, and doorknocker clasps, yessss doorknockers! There are also series of denim fannies for winter, but they’re not pictured :/ With each purchase, Yana donates 15% percent of their proceeds to charity. Yana fanny-packin’ FTW!
The plain lambskin joints are available in forest green, patent leather pink, eggplant, and black. $140

These are bad! As avid boot wearers, it feels good to find a pair of great looking babies. Aside from the primary Pascal collection (colored lampers), Lambada is a unique, fully pigmented monochrome leather with a distinctive “Croc” print. Can’t go wrong in animal print :)

Max and I share the same obsession for pony hair, so naturally we shrieked at the image of Chole Sevigny’s buckle boots in three new delicious flavors of suede gray, lizard skin black, and (you guessed it) pony hair black! Oh wow, we just die. But of course beauty comes at a price, for these new flavors carry a higher price tag. Then again how often does a higher price tag deter you from something you truly want? ;)

The darling Max and I have been talking about getting some Docs for a while now but we still haven’t been able to find the right boots. I love Raf and anything matte so these boots have pretty much shot an arrow straight through my heart, well okay almost. I’m a hi-top sorta girl so I’m gonna search around and see if a hi-top version exists, if so I will be sold.
