COMME des GARCONS turns 40! To celebrate CDG’s anniversary, fashion mastermind (and my idol) Rei Kawakubo is planning another chain of guerilla stores. The stores will be stocked with a line entitled “BLACK” and is meant to bring “‘positive energy’ in hard times.” Collections will be sold throughout some of the more influential locations worldwide for a total of 18 months. Various locations throughout Asia have already opened up while special 2 week outlets will see a debut on June 22nd.
