I swear Timberland has been stepping up their game BIG time. Whenever someone would bring up the name “Timberland” immediately the image of a “thug ass nia” (i.e. D’Angelo) came to mind. You know… the Timbs, baggy jeans, beater, and denim jacket. So hood, don’t tell me you don’t remember the Mocha/Navy/Baby Pink flavors of boots strolling down the city streets. Oh, and lets not even get into the high heeled Timbs. Anyways, it seems like Timberland has been trying to shake that hoodie image for a while and recently they really have stepped things up. I’ve been on the prowl (when am I not?) for a new pair of boots and seeing as how I’ve been a Timberland fan for a cool minute, I’m proud that they’ve got their creative juices flowing. And boy are those juices flowin’.

Totally intrigued with their A/W 2009 Collection, their “Woman” A/W 2009 (pictured below) is just as fantastic. Paying homeage to 1940’s American workwear, each style is named after a inspirational woman of that time.
